If you gave a Deadpool 2 Blu-ray to MTV and gave them an hour with Ryan Reynolds and Fred Savage, this is what they would return to you. It's a nurtured version of Deadpool 2 with updated pop culture references and 100% more complaints bout Fox. I saw Deadpool 2 in theaters and I was very pleased, but Once Upon a Deadpool is a travesty. Maybe I just noticed it a lot more because I wasn't enjoying myself or maybe it was just in additional scenes and PG-13-ified shots, but the CGI is really, really bad at times and Juggernaut's voice doesn't feel like it's part of the movie; it is clearly ADR and it's very distracting. The Fred Savage frame story is half-baked and doesn't add anything, certainly no Christmas element as I was lead to believe. There is no reason for this film to exist and the very fact that it does is more than a little concerning.
