Review:
It Follows has one problem. All of the acting is serviceable, the premise is novel and interesting, and the pacing worked. The issue is that It Follows is overflowing with "Horror Movie Logic". 90% of horror movies require a good amount of suspension of disbelief, but It Follows constantly has you asking "Why don't they just...", "Why doesn't it just...", "Can't they...", and so on. It Follows is a very focused film and ignores any real character building of background. It's a good film, but I wish it did more. We get a compact story, but it feels bare and occasionally like there are stray threads that I'd have liked them to either follow or pull.
