Review:
I had easily written this off as another stupid, saccharine family film, but when it popped up on Netflix, there wasn't much to lose. I love Winnie the Pooh, but the idea of a CGI Pooh in a live action world was off-putting. I'm so glad I gave it a chance though. The CGI is way better than I expected and it manages to expertly balance between saccharine and sweet. The plot is cliche and the daughter is a terrible actress, but does a pretty good job capturing the feel of the Hundred Acre Woods. I wish the supporting cast got more attention, but the fact that they even bothered to include lesser members like Roo made me happy enough.
