Review:
With the concept that the US government allows one night each year when everyone has the right to murder anyone from sundown to sunrise is a chilling notion that is deployed admirably in this graphic, disturbing film. Our protagonist Sergeant (Frank Grillo) is on a mission to extract revenge on an individual that killed his son who was spared by the system through technicality but finds himself helping a few helpless souls caught in the mercy of the new law. The writing is interesting enough with solid performances by the cast and a few interesting twists in the storyline that works well. If you are in a mood for a violent, action adventure flick with thrilling suspense you can’t go wrong with a movie that delivers the right amount of bang for your buck. Please pass the popcorn and the ammo while you’re at it.
