Review:
A film that has been done before and yet still feels fresh in execution thanks partly to the wonderful acting chops of the two leads: Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali (winner of Best Supporting Actor). Oscar winner for Best Picture as well as Best Original Screenplay is highly questionable since it’s been told before and nothing about it is original however it plays out real smoothly and although it’s 2 hours long, it doesn’t drag at all. Wonderful scenery and a few really good lines here and there but again, it’s been done before so there’s a feel of deja vu in the viewing although it’s your first viewing of the film.
