Visually stunning masterpiece that would be criminal to not view in Blu Ray HD or 3D as the colors and the frantic tempo of the movie feels like additional characters. The story is rather simple but then again, I don't think the director was trying to reinvent the wheel but continue the Mad Max legacy and bring it forward for a new generation to appreciate which he succeeded in spades. Tom Hardy makes a compelling Mad Max and worthy successor to Mel Gibson's star making vehicle. Charlize Theron as Imeprator Furiosa matches Tom's intensity in the role. Both seemed to feed on each others almost frantic delivery and with limited dialogue, their performance is that much more dynamic relying on facial expression and mostly, just their eyes to convey the myriad of emotions coursing through their veins during the high octane chase in the blistering desert. The film never felt like it dragged considering that it's 2 hours long. Highly recommended to Action fans as well as to girls looking for a role model that is all substance and heart, and lastly to all visual fanatics, this movie delivers an then some!
