The Secret Life of Pets

Thought this film was great. Humor was on-point even for a children's movie. Caught myself laughing throughout entirety of movie and the plot was clever.

Hacksaw Ridge

Compelling story but executed poorly. Couldn't take the main character seriously as he seemed like he was about break into Spiderman get-up at any moment. War scenes were graphic and entertaining but overall character development and acting was poor.
